Founded in 2013 in Richmond, Virginia Belle Isle Moonshine has since become the top-selling craft spirits brand in our home state. We handcraft a line of premium moonshine, infusions, and canned cocktails, all distilled from 100% organic corn and infused with real, all-natural ingredients.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be a critical member of our small, tight-knit team. You will have direct ownership of managing Key Accounts in your market. On a daily basis you’ll be working to grow our business through case sales and market presence. You will be on the front lines, making you an essential collaborating partner to our Marketing, Community, and Production teams.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Account Management

  • Manage and implement brand programming in Key Accounts at the local market level

  • Know account-level Key Account pricing and programming to assist in KPI achievement

  • Work closely with Distributor Management and reps in finding new accounts, setting up accounts for delivery, and servicing Key Accounts quickly and accurately

  • Communicate local opportunities within brand strategy as well as competitive activity to the Area Sales Manager

Program Execution

  • Know your program calendar and help create quarterly programming to help achieve goals

  • Help design and implement customer loyalty programs to bring in consumers and Industry brand fans

  • Organize programming in Key Accounts, stay ahead of timelines, and organize and plan your programs well in advance

  • Be an entrepreneur and help make Belle Isle Moonshine  a successful brand within all categories involved

Metrics Management

  • Achieve case goals and KPIs monthly, stay on forecast, and give accurate forecasts to the Area Sales Manager

  • Create strong working relationships with local distributor/broker management and sales reps to achieve KPIs

  • Develop a system to track distribution, volume, and all KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly and know your distribution and account universe information better than your distributor

  • Set and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly business goals (OKRs) with your management team

  • Know your team, know your distributor, and know your business!


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in the alcohol beverage Industry (Distributor or Supplier)

  • Bartender/Service Industry experience preferred

  • Experience in the canned beverage alcohol Industry (beer, RTD, wine)

  • Must live in the (757) area, preferably VA Beach or Norfolk

  • Required to work nights and weekends when necessary, as role requires calling on bars and restaurants

  • Must have an active driver’s license and insurance

  • Ability to travel overnight when asked. Overnights will be minimal, but may be asked during blitzes and/or out of town ride withs.

  • Must be self-motivated and organized in their day-to-day work schedule

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate business-related communication and productivity apps

  • Ideal candidate is a professional who is able to work well with customers and teammates
